Epsilon Epsilon Philanthropy

We at the Epsilon Epsilon Chapter of Beta Theta Pi

understand the importance of philanthropy. Many of our

brothers not only participate in a number of the

philanthropic groups on campus, but they also hold

leadership positions in many of them. Some of these

groups include Relay for Life, UGA HEROs, and UGA

Miracle. We also have many brothers participate in

programs outside of UGA and in the Athens community

including the Friends for Life Program, Athens Regional

Hospital, the Salvation Army, Whatever It Takes(WIT)

mentoring and Thomas Lay Mentoring. Each brother is

required to complete 10 hours of community service per

semester. However, in recent years we are proud to say

we have averaged 20 hours or more per brother which has

helped us to earn the Knox Award, the highest praise

given to chapters of Beta, seven times.
